Sinopsis: Sorogibel es una casa solariega en la Navarra de la primera mitad del siglo XX, en Pirineos, muy cerca de la frontera. Allí viven Mieltxo y Cataline con sus hijos, y allí les sorprenderá el advenimiento de la República y la posterior guerra civil, enviando a unos al exilio, a otros a tierras vizcaínas y a otros a sobrevivir en Pamplona en los duros años del hambre y la represión. Es la novela que catapultó a Mikel Alvira.
